Thal Equine is a working surgical and general equine practice with clinic and mobile components. We are energetically pursuing becoming our area’s specialty and referral hospital.  Last year we built a new hospital facility with surgery suite and have plans to continue to add to the facility as demand dictates.  Our practice is outfitted with digital ultrasound, a 3 meter gastroscope, in-house laboratory, complete mobile units and much more.

For 11 years Thal equine has brought excellent veterinary medicine to northern New Mexico, always focusing on quality of service and client education.  In this time we have generated a reputation that we are proud of.  Our goal is to continue this service while developing into the specialty and referral hospital in this ideal, central location.  Located on 50 scenic acres just 45 minutes from Albuquerque, beautiful mountains and outdoor recreation all around, we think this is a fantastic spot to work and live. 

Applicant would help to build our surgical practice, but must also have a desire to take part in other practice aspects. Buy-in is a definite possibility for the right person.

ASSOCIATE POSITION

Our goal at Thal Equine is the development of a specialty hospital with progressive veterinary care and an emphasis on client education. 

We are looking for an applicant with interest and experience in one or more of the following areas: Surgery, reproduction, and performance horse lameness. But should enjoy all the various aspects of a general equine practice. 

Our practice is well outfitted with digital ultrasound, a 3 meter gastroscope, in-house laboratory, stallion reproductive setup, surgical suite, complete mobile units and much more.
