Text Messaging Terms and Conditions
Thal Equine LLC — Client Care Text Messages
Effective October 15, 2026
1. Program description
Thal Equine LLC (“Thal Equine,” “we”) sends text messages (SMS) to clients who have given us permission, about the care of their own animals. Messages may include: appointment confirmations and reminders; check-ins after treatment or surgery; follow-up, recheck and reminder notices; notices that results are ready; hospitalized-patient updates; invoice and payment notices; links to aftercare instructions for your animal; and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages.
2. Consent
You can give permission in person or by phone when you book or check in, or by signing our Text Message Permission form. Giving permission is not a condition of receiving veterinary care. We text only the number you gave us, and only about your own animals.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies with your animal’s treatment. A horse in the hospital may generate several messages a day; a routine appointment may generate one or two.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply according to your mobile carrier’s plan. Thal Equine does not charge for text messages.
5. How to stop
Reply STOP to any message at any time and you will receive one confirmation text and no further messages. You can also call us at (505) 438-6590 or tell any staff member. Stopping texts does not affect your animal’s care — we will reach you by phone or email instead.

7. Privacy
We do not sell, rent, or share your mobile number or your text-messaging consent with any third party for their marketing purposes. Our full privacy policy is at https://thalequine.com/privacy-policy/.
8. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Supported carriers include AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most major U.S. carriers.
9. Changes
We may update these terms; the current version is always at this page.
